WELCOME TO STABLE NQ!

The Stable NQ is one of Townsville’s most loved Christmas traditions that inspires hope, builds community, joy, and genuine connection across our city! A free, family-friendly experience that brings the story of Christmas to life through creativity, collaboration, and celebration. Each year, 40,000 people gather over 5 nights to wander the streets of Bethlehem, meet local nativity characters, and get hands-on with carpentry, baking, crafts and more. It's a place where joy, wonder and genuine connection come alive.

 In partnership with local churches, businesses, and volunteers, The Stable NQ exists to inspire hope, build unity, and create space for people of all ages to experience the heart of Christmas in meaningful and memorable ways.

This year, join us at Cluden Park, December 18-22, as we celebrate together and share in the spirit that makes The Stable NQ a true gift to our city.
